A NEW ADDITION TO THE IREF PRO RANGE: R-22 – ppm RANGE
The most complete range of refrigerant leak detection sensors on the market based on NDIR technology adds yet another option for its users: R-22 in ppm range.
Also known as Chlorodifluoromethane or difluoromonochloromethane, R-22 has been phased out under the Montreal Protocol in developed countries in 2020 due to its ozone depletion potential (ODP) and high global warming potential (GWP), and in developing countries this process will be completed by 2030.
However, R-22 is still in use in many systems and requires strict monitoring due to its health&safety and environmental concerns.
The sensor will be available for shipment in 0-2000ppm range on the IREF PRO line starting from September 2023.
